After two days of group stage matches, the four PGL Reginal Minor Championship playoff teams have been found. The action will continue tomorrow as the teams battle it out for two spots at the ELEAGUE Major Offline Qualifier.
The first team to secure a spot in the semi-final was the Chinese powerhouse TYLOO, with Ke "captainMo" Liu and co. walking over nxl in their first map (Mirage 16-1) before closing the deal with a Hui "DD" Wu and HaoWen "somebody" Xu powered performance that yielded them a 16-8 win over MVP Project.
In group B, the ESL Pro League Finals dropouts Renegades followed in a similar path with a 16-1 win over BOT before facing the second-best Chinese team VG.CyberZen in the winners match.
On Cobblestone, Bin "Savage" Liu's team built up a strong 12-3 lead as Terrorists in the first half, but the Australians managed to equalize the score at 15-15 to go into overtime - where they prevailed thanks to a 41-kill performance by Aaron "AZR" Ward.

Tyloo cruised through their group, as was expected
After that, we saw Athletico prevailing over nxl in the elimination match of group A despite Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand successfully transferring his impressive online stats to a LAN environment - finishing with a 1.64 rating in his team's 2-0 loss.
That was as far as the Australians could go, as the decider best-of-three pitted them against MVP Project who defeated them in a tight three-map series. The main player for the Koreans was Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim, who topped the scoreboard to help his team bounce back after losing the first map 16-14.
BOT got their first map win of the tournament versus Fire Dragoon, defeating them 16-10 on Cache, but were eliminated in the end after two competitive maps - 16-14 on Dust2 and 16-12 on Train.
The last spot for the playoffs was decided between the Malaysians and VG.CyberZen. After an overtime win on Dust2, Fire Dragoon weren't able to close out Cobblestone, allowing the Chinese team to come back and win the match 2-1.
With these results, we will have the following semi-final draw:
